Optic Nerve Symposium

Each year, the Department of Media and Design & Communication at the Piet Zwart Institute co-operates with the International Film Festival Rotterdam in organising an intensive day of mini-masterclasses around one of the IFFR theme programs.

This year we invite five artists participating in the IFFR exhibition Scotoma and the related program Out of Sight to talk about their practice and the strategic role of the concept of blind spots in their work. The following speakers will present and discuss their work: Marc De Blieck, Dryden Goodwin, Melvin Moti, Meggy Rustamova, Dominique Somers, Various Artists.
